The Digger

So we had some excitement on Monday.  Mum has been house sitting next door to our land, and on Monday she sent me through a photo.  She woke up and looked out the window and saw this…

 

 

 

The digger!!!  Very exciting.  We had had our pre construction meeting last week and were told that they would be starting in a couple of weeks, so to see a digger on the land which meant they might start doing something was very exciting.  Then, yesterday this happened…

 

 

The digger starting digging!!  So we can officially say that we have begun.  He was there to start clearing off the land and to get it ready for the excavations.

 

By the time I went around yesterday after work it looked like this:

 

 

With the building pad all cleared off!    How's that for progress.  Its really starting to happen!!

 

Mum said that he was back there today to put up some fences and to clear off the driveway!  I guess the drive by once I pick up the boys is going to be a common occurrence now to see the daily progress!!

 

SO exciting!!!
